About the Role

The Procurement and Acquisitions Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the logistical equipment of our division is properly managed, compliant with regulations, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, logistics, and firearms compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain updated registers of all division’s equipment
Issue and receive all division’s equipment and control its distribution
Conduct regular inspections on all division equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations
Repair or dispose of faulty equipment in a timely manner
Submit firearm compliance reports as required by the national BPC DFO

Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate and present at all levels
Ability to work under continued pressure
Clean disciplinary, criminal, and credit record
Prepared to work additional hours when required

Qualifications

Matric certificate (if applicable)
