About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at The Talent Room. As an integral member of our support infrastructure, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues, and ensure seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, and network-related issues)
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets within agreed SLA timeframes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Provide on-site and remote support to users
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and support operating systems (Windows / macOS)
- Install, update, and maintain standard business software and applications
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant IT qualification or certification (A+, N+, IT Support, or similar)
- 1–3 years’ experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
