About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our consignment stock management processes. With your strong analytical skills and experience in logistics and supply chain management, you will play a critical role in maintaining our inventory levels and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and sign off on consignment & boot inventory reconciliations
- Follow up and resolve consignment / short-term / kit / boot inventory discrepancies
- Liaise with consignment controllers nationally to ensure counts and reconciliations are performed timeously
- Ensure slow moving inventory is rotated
- Ensure expired inventory is uplifted from consignment bins
- Liaise with Sales Consultant(s) to obtain orders for missing inventory
- Update and maintain missing inventory records
- Update and maintain consignment count records
- Assisting with demo, sample, and expired stock to comply with Regulatory requirements
- Monthly progress reports to management on missing inventory
- Ad-Hoc duties as and when required
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement
- Qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain or Finance will be a definite advantage
- Minimum of 3 -5 years stock control experience is required
- Medical equipment / medical device industry experience is essential
