About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our warehouse operations, with a strong focus on receiving, production preparation, stock control, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials are received daily and accurately goods-received in SAP
- Monitor, report, and account for all extras, shortages, and damaged material
- Returns ensure all returned goods are accurately counted and verified against the suppliers returns note
- Optimize picking efficiency by relocating fast-moving items closer to the picking area and positioning slow-moving items toward the back
- Implement strict controls and monitoring procedures for high-value items
- Manage staff and resources Ensure that adequate provision of staff is available as and when required
- Conduct daily stock counts for high-value items and perform weekly cycle counts for all items in the Distribution Centre (DC)
- Prepare for and conduct half-yearly and financial year-end stock counts
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or Certificate/Diploma in Logistics
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
