About the Role

Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced Field Service Earthmoving Technician to join our team in Gauteng. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of earthmoving equipment according to OEM specifications. With a strong background in the earthmoving industry, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of hydraulic systems, diagnose and repair faults, and assist in the repair and overhaul of other components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of earthmoving equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and/or electrical/electronic systems
  • Assist in the repair and overhaul of other various components/assemblies on earthmoving equipment
  • Ensure personal and co-workers’ adherence and compliance to security and the Company’s SHE objectives
  • Be willing to work overtime, standby, and be available for call-outs as and when required

Requirements

  • Earthmoving Equipment Trade Test qualification (red seal) a must
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the earthmoving industry
  • Previously worked for an OEM
  • Ability to read and understand schematics
  • Must be prepared to travel
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Familiarity with hydraulic pumps, drive motors, hydro-static transmissions, hoses, cylinders, engines, drive trains, and basic electrics

Qualifications

  • Earthmoving Equipment Trade Test qualification (red seal)
