About the Role
German Auto Service Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Service/Workshop Foreman to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our workshop, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the workshop
- Manage and lead a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff
- Assign tasks and projects to team members based on their skills and expertise
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of work performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support and expertise to the team
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, assist them, address their concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with services provided
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records, scheduling, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate
Requirements
- Mechanical Trade Certificate/Red Seal (Mechanic)
- Vehicle knowledge and experience
- Ability to fault find on vehicles and repair/recommend
- Automotive trade – car service centre knowledge and experience
- Own transport and valid driver’s license
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Salary & Benefits
Net Salary: R22,800-00 per month, negotiable based on qualifications. Annual Increases: Performance-based and subject to discussion. Annual Bonus: Performance-based and subject to discussion
