About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Co-operative Business Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, budgeting, and target achievement, with a strong background in co-operative purchasing or sales to co-operatives. A background in chemical products is essential, with experience in agricultural, industrial, or garden chemicals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales teams and build relationships with head offices, regional managers, and branch managers
- Analyse and report on performance, profitability, and business risks
- Develop and implement pricing strategies and margin management plans
- Coordinate promotions and manage budgets to achieve targets
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Junior Manager or Senior Sales Representative with management responsibility
- Proven experience in sales, budgeting, and target achievement
- Demonstrated people management and team coordination experience
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders
- Ability to analyse and report on performance, profitability, and business risks
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (practical experience and industry knowledge will be given greater weight than formal qualifications alone)
