About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our executive leadership team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our marketing function, you will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that support growth and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support growth and revenue objectives
- Own brand positioning and ensure a consistent customer experience across all channels
- Lead digital marketing initiatives across social, email, CRM, SEO, and app communication platforms
- Drive app-related marketing initiatives, including launches, loyalty programmes, customer engagement, and CRM campaigns
- Leverage data, insights, and market research to guide decision-making and performance optimisation
- Manage and deliver campaigns across digital, retail, events, and app environments
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, promoting ownership and high standards
- Manage marketing budgets, agency partners, and relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a senior marketing role within consumer-led, retail, lifestyle, or FMCG environments
- Demonstrated success in driving commercial outcomes through integrated marketing activity
- Strong people leadership experience with internal teams and external partners
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insight into action
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a related discipline
