Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Financial Management: Command the comprehensive accounting lifecycle across the entity, ensuring fluid accuracy from initial transactional processing right through to monthly close.
• Statutory Reporting & Statements: Formulate, compile, and review pristine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with accounting frameworks.
• Ledger Quality & Balance Sheet Control: Execute deep-dive balance sheet reconciliations, process adjusting journals, and safeguard the absolute structural integrity of all corporate records.
• Forward Planning & Treasury Analysis: Actively assist senior executives with strategic budgeting models, rolling financial forecasting, and operational cash flow management.
• Taxation, Controls & Audit Governance: Manage compliance across statutory tax regulations and internal corporate policies, while serving as the primary corporate contact to facilitate smooth external audit processes.
• Process Engineering: Evaluate existing financial workflows to introduce modern control enhancements and reporting efficiencies.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Formal Education: A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related commercial discipline.
• Professional Foundation: Successfully completed SAICA or SAIPA training articles are an absolute prerequisite.
• Experience Track: A minimum of 4 to 6 years of solid, reference-backed commercial accounting experience post-articles.
• Systems & Digital Mastery: Strong, hands-on proficiency utilizing CaseWare for financial reporting, alongside advanced operational command of Microsoft Excel.
• Non-negotiables: Exceptional analytical capabilities, sharp logical problem-solving skills, and the polished communication confidence necessary to interface with cross-functional business heads under tight deadlines.
