About the Role
The Admin Officer would play a major role in both businesses to support administration duties, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Placement and allocation of rooms of students on the property.
- Administering students’ contracts of stay, ensuring that they are explained, understood and signed by the students.
- Induction of students to the property.
- Asset register maintenance.
- Facilitating maintenance issues.
- Facilitating students’ disciplinary hearings.
- Liaising with relevant sponsors regarding student funding.
- Ensuring that students stay on track.
- Ordering material for ice.
- Processing orders for ice.
- Drawing delivery schedules for ice.
- Stock control.
- Conducting biweekly visits to customers.
- Providing up-to-date administration of both businesses.
Requirements
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
- Matric.
- Administrative skills.
- Hospitality.
- Film Production or TV, or media studies related field.
