About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled UAT Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software products meet both business requirements and end-users’ needs before release. With a strong focus on collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, we are looking for an individual who can design and execute comprehensive test plans and identify issues or bugs that could impact the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and objectives of software.
- Develop and execute detailed UAT test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Document test results, report bugs and errors to development team, and follow through on resolutions.
- Work closely with business analysts and project managers to ensure that all scenarios are tested and that the software meets business needs.
- Provide feedback to development team on usability and functionality issues.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on UAT progress and outcomes.
- Assist in creating user manuals and training materials for end-users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in UAT testing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in test management software (Sirion) and SQL.
