About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Metallurgist to join our team in Thabazimbi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical plants, with a focus on PGM flotation and Chrome recovery plant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of metallurgical plants
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment
- Monitor production levels and optimize processes for maximum efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in metallurgical plants
- Must have PGM flotation and Chrome recovery plant experience
- Good presentation skills are essential for effective communication with stakeholders
- Administration, housekeeping, and computer literacy skills are also required for this role
Qualifications
Matric Certificate/Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)
B. Tech Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
Post-graduate qualification might be advantageous.
