About the Role
Dante Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for managing internal forecasting and buying, as well as maintaining warehouse accuracy and overseeing local and international buying processes. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all internal forecasting and buying for the group company
- Maintain warehouse accuracy
- Oversee all local and international buying and relative staff allocated to this process
- Implement new systems as needed by management
- Manage the Syspro processes related to buying and stock management
- Accurately monitoring buying trends to streamline current systems and processes
- Conducting annual audits on suppliers to ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain and manage receipting processes and accuracy of deliveries on local and international orders
- Negotiate pricing and volume, rebates and discounts with all suppliers
- Prepare warehouse month end and financial year end to ensure accuracy of stock
Requirements
- Minimum requirements: Matric – compulsory Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics / Procurement qualification will be an advantage
- 3-4 years experience as a Buyer, preferably in a manufacturing, factory, or industrial environment
