Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to manage and oversee multi-entity financial portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment-related accounting, with a track record of delivering strategic insights to support business growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor portfolio performance, including asset management, investment allocations, and fund reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team to deliver high-quality financial outputs.
Drive process improvements and system optimizations for financial reporting and portfolio management.
Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.

Requirements

B.Compt, B.Com (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent; CA(SA) designation preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in financial management, auditing, or investment/portfolio reporting.
Proven experience in multi-entity financial reporting, consolidation, and management accounts.
Strong understanding of IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Caseware, or similar).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
