About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering projects, managing teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from planning to execution
- Lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Oversee plant maintenance and repairs
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Engineering Manager in the FMCG Industry
- B-tech | National Diploma, or BEng or relevant qualification
- GCC is compulsory
- Proficient in MS Office | ERP System
- Strong knowledge of Plant Management | Ammonia Refrigeration | Pneumatic systems
- Proven experience in People Management | Financial Management | Planning and Execution of Projects and Planned Shutdowns
