Middelburg: Manager: Supply Chain & Distribution

In this role, you’ll oversee Supply Chain, Distribution, and Warehousing functions, ensuring inventory accuracy, cost control, stakeholder alignment, and on-time delivery across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead administration, weighbridge, and supply chain analysis teams while driving performance against business targets.
• Manage Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) and Work-In-Progress (WIP), including external processing operations.
• Oversee transport, containerisation, warehousing, and inbound logistics activities.
• Drive collaboration with Procurement, Commercial, Operations Planning, and Finance.

Requirements

• 68 years of experience driving KPIs with people management exposure.
• Strong background in inventory management, supplier relationship management, and logistics operations (road, rail, warehousing, containerisation).
• Minimum 2 years experience in invoice administration and collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Commercial.
• Contract management and negotiations essential.
• Export shipping exposure advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering (Diploma with MDP also considered).
