About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Woodstock, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transactional finance function for the UK and Ireland region, including payroll and coding teams, and providing insightful commentary and analysis through regular finance reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transactional finance function for the UK and Ireland region, including payroll and coding teams
  • Manage the month end close process, including accruals and prepayments review
  • Preparation of financial reporting to management and the Board
  • Business partnering with Business Unit leads to deliver monthly opex reviews
  • Drive improved P&L performance through cost efficiencies and optimisation

Requirements

  • Fully qualified CA (or equivalent) finance professional (essential)
  • 3 years post-qualified experience in an operational finance role (essential)
  • Hands-on experience with key financial systems (e.g. expense management, payroll, forecasting, business intelligence)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: R700,000 – R900,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
