About the Role
The Office Support Manager will provide comprehensive and strategic support to the Chief Financial Officer, serving as a subject-matter expert, drafting reports, presentations, and official correspondence. The role involves managing the effective flow of information between the CFO, Executive Management, and the rest of the Corporation, while identifying trends for business improvement and risk management purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of operational matters and support planning and execution of key deliverables
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and draft reports, presentations, and official correspondence
- Manage the effective flow of information between the CFO, Executive Management, and the rest of the Corporation
- Monitor, evaluate, and measure the timely implementation of deliverables across the Division (Group Finance)
- Support the coordination and alignment of Group Finance activities
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical degree
- A Postgraduate Qualification in a relevant field (e.g. CA(SA), MBA/MBL, LLB etc.)
- Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in the financial discipline
- Experience in State Owned Entities or development finance entities and understanding of all applicable legislative and governance principles relative to Group Finance
