About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled practitioner to join our risk support team as a Centurion: Practitioner Risk Support Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practice, with a proven track record of identifying and addressing risks. As a key member of our risk management function, you will work closely with legal practices to provide targeted training interventions and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess notified claims to determine the underlying causes of errors or omissions.
  • Identify legal practices that require risk-management training and provide targeted training interventions.
  • Offer ongoing support and practical solutions to legal practices identified for assistance.
  • Prepare risk-management materials that address specific areas of concern.
  • Engage with legal practices regarding their compliance obligations.
  • Participate in organisational management activities.
  • Manage the budget for the practitioner support function.
  • Compile reports on activities for management and governance structures.

Requirements

  • Holds an LLB degree.
  • Is an admitted attorney in good standing.
  • Has a minimum of 10 years experience in legal practice, including senior-level or management responsibilities.
  • Can operate confidently at an executive level and engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Is able to work independently, professionally, and in a structured manner.
