About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the commercial, contractual, and financial performance of engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying (QS), sound contractual knowledge, and a solid understanding of NEC and FIDIC contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project profitability and cash flow
  • Monitor valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Prepare and review financial and commercial reports
  • Draft, review, and administer contracts
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and FIDIC contract frameworks
  • Manage contractual risks, claims, and dispute resolution

Requirements

  • Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts (essential)
  • Experience within engineering/construction projects
  • Solid understanding of contract law and commercial risk

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
