About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As the backbone of our technology infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our office network, ensuring all staff have adequate equipment from a software and hardware perspective, and providing timely support when problems arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the office network and all connectivity
- Ensure all staff are adequately equipped from a software and hardware perspective
- When problems occur, ensure staff are assisted timeously
- Manage technical resources and support services
- Ensure stability and speedy downtime recovery
- Manage relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Ensure technical budget is in line with the company objectives
- Manage access control
- Manage the security of the office environment
Requirements
- Matric, or related qualification
- Information Technology Degree or related certification
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Friendly and supportive demeanour
