Job Description

is assisting a boutique luxury lodge group in Limpopo, in sourcing an experienced and dynamic . The GM couple will be responsible for the full operational, financial, and guest service oversight of both lodges. While one partner will ideally focus on guest engagement, food & beverage, and front-of-house, the other will manage the back-of-house functions including HR, maintenance, finance, and logistics. Both will be deeply involved in staff training and performance management, creating a cohesive culture of care, professionalism, and pride. Full operational management of both lodges Financial oversight, budgeting, and cost control in collaboration with head office Strategic planning to enhance guest experience and lodge efficiencies Leadership, mentorship, and training of all lodge teams Oversee HR compliance, rosters, leave planning, and staff development Act as the face of the lodge for guests, travel trade, media, and VIPs Uphold sustainability practices, safety regulations, and health standards Identify areas for innovation and product improvement across all guest touchpoints Host daily briefings, manage logistics, and ensure smooth daily operations Drive internal communication and team cohesion Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior hospitality management role (ideally as a couple) Prior lodge, boutique hotel, or remote luxury property experience essential Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and operational reporting Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and building workplace culture Confident hosts with an eye for detail and guest delight Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking ability Practical knowledge of maintenance, stock control, and supplier management Passionate about nature, conservation, and people-driven hospitality Computer literate with strong administrative skills Valid driver’s licenses and PDP (or willingness to obtain) : Up to R60k for the couple, with live-in accommodation ➡️ : Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
