About the Role
A leading paint manufacturer situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Research and Development Technical Analyst to join their team. The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for contributing to the development and improvement of existing products, as well as exploring new technologies and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor the execution of research and development projects relating to ongoing product maintenance and new developments.
- Gather and analyse data within various areas such as quality control procedures, raw material testing, and production processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving product performance and quality.
Requirements
- 3-5 years extensive experience in a R&D environment, preferably in the coatings, inks, plastics, or adhesives field.
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Composite Engineering, or a related subject is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
