About the Role
Recruit-It is seeking an experienced Partner Relations Manager/ Vendor Manager for a dynamic team in Gauteng. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Your strong business acumen and analytical skills will enable you to drive cost savings and optimize supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure services from international suppliers, predominantly in Africa and Middle East (preferable)
- Develop, review, and refine supplier score cards and procedures
- Conduct supplier reviews based on score cards and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where needed
- Manage and resolve supplier escalations from internal departments
- Assist Finance Department to resolve invoicing and billing disputes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, supply chain or related tertiary qualification
- Project management or service delivery advantageous
- 5 Years experience in telecommunications industry, data networking products (MPLS, Ethernet, WAN, etc.)
- Experience in procurement from international suppliers
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with vendors
- Basic cost-accounting skills

- Valid passport
- Willing to travel internationally on an ad hoc basis
