About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading investment firm in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is seeking a Graduate Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a key member of our investment industry client, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, research, and due diligence support for transactions. You will also assist with deal execution, market research, and presentation development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial analysis, research, and due diligence for transactions.
- Support the deal team in preparing pitch books and presentations.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and data analysis tools.
- Conduct market research and analyse industry trends.
- Assist with transaction execution, including deal closing and documentation.
- Manage data room contents and indexes.
- Prepare materials for investor meetings and publications.
- Update pipelines, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Participate in meetings with investors, prospective investors, and partners.
- Contribute to due diligence on potential investee companies.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present investment opportunities.
- Analyse financial forecasts, benchmarking, and covenant compliance.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Investments.
- Strong academic record in mathematics (minimum 80% in matric) and English (minimum 70% in matric).
- Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
