About the Role
A well-established wine estate in Stellenbosch is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its financial team. The ideal candidate will be well presented, well spoken, and able to work accurately under pressure while contributing positively as a team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of accounts (daily processing)
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Inventory management and returns
- Assistance with month-end closing activities
- Preparation and assistance with audit files for the annual audit
- General financial and administrative support to the finance team
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with: Pastel Xero MS Office (especially Excel)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
