About the Role

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and developing a small finance team, improving and maintaining financial systems and processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a small finance team
Improve and maintain financial systems and processes
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Manage audits, tax submissions, cash flow, and treasury
Produce group financial reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Requirements

Experience in hospitality, fintech, or insurance industries will be advantageous. Proven staff management skills are required. A minimum of 4 years’ relevant commercial experience (post article) is mandatory. JSE-listed experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

CA(SA) qualification is non-negotiable
