About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Accountant to join our team at HotelJobs in Bryanston. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and stability of our Time Share Game Lodge Resort Head Office. With at least 5 years of experience in a related field and a solid track record working as a Financial Accountant within the Hospitality Industry, we are looking for a self-driven individual with strong leadership qualities to oversee our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial controls over all aspects of the units business.
- Prepare monthly financial packs and present this to the Finance Manager.
- Compile variance report on all overspends on budgets.
- Prepare the weekly financial reports and present this to the Financial Manager.
- Ensure that all unit admin staff know what results are expected of them.
- Improve the skills level of all accounting staff.
- Promote job satisfaction.
- Oversee training and development within the units accounting departments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a solid track record working as a Financial Accountant / Manager within the Hospitality Industry.
- Strong leadership qualities and commercially astute decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Good to Advanced Excel Skills.
- Proficient in SAGE ONE.
Qualifications
- Matric is a minimum requirement, but a further qualification is a bonus.
Salary & Benefits
R40,000.00 CTC including Medical Aid
