Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a motivated Junior Engineer Consultant in Fire Protection to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of fire protection systems in accordance with local codes and standards.
- Conduct calculations and analyses for various fire protection systems including sprinkler systems and fire alarms.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare technical documents, reports, and specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing fire protection systems and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to fire protection engineering.
- Support project management activities and maintain project documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fire protection principles and relevant codes and standards.
- 1-3 years of experience in fire protection engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the fire protection engineering field.
