Role Summary

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in the steel industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within the steel and fabrication markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through external client engagement within the steel and fabrication industries.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, including fabricators, contractors, and industrial clients.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.

  • Promote and sell steel products and related services in line with client requirements.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on orders and enquiries.

  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery coordination, and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven external sales experience within the steel industry (essential).

  • Established customer base and relationships within the steel, fabrication, or construction industries.

  • Strong understanding of steel products and services.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Valid drivers licence (essential).

  • Must reside in Meyerton or nearby surrounding areas.
