General Manager Couple | Luxury Lodge | Welgevonden Salary: Negotiable (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a prestigious luxury lodge in Welgevonden, seeking an experienced General Manager or General Manager Couple to oversee all aspects of lodge operations. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing a high-performing team ✨ Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality • Lead, manage, and develop lodge staff to deliver consistently excellent guest experiences • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards • Maintain strong relationships with guests, stakeholders, and suppliers • Implement operational policies, procedures, and standards across all departments • Support marketing and guest engagement initiatives to maximise occupancy and revenue • Drive staff training, development, and performance management initiatives • Provide strategic input to achieve the lodge’s long-term operational and financial objectives Key Skills and Experience: • Proven experience as a General Manager or Lodge Manager within a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment • Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills • Excellent financial management and operational knowledge • Exceptional guest service and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote lodge environment • Relevant hospitality qualifications and experience in safari or remote lodge operations advantageous Package: • Negotiable salary depending on experience • Live-in accommodation and other lodge benefits may be provided • Opportunity to lead a prestigious lodge and drive operational and guest service excellence This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional or couple to take ownership of a luxury lodge and ensure world-class service and operational standards.
