Job Description

is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded safari lodge in the Waterberg to recruit a confident, service-driven . This role is perfectly suited to an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being fully involved in lodge life and who takes pride in creating memorable, personalised guest experiences while maintaining strong operational control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the lodge on a day-to-day basis, leading and motivating the team, maintaining high service standards and overseeing administrative and financial processes. A hands-on, solutions-focused approach, combined with strong organisational ability and a genuine passion for hospitality, will be key to success in this position. Requirements Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management within a similar environment Strong administrative, organisational and basic accounting skills Confident leadership ability with excellent communication and people-management skills Highly guest-focused with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Well-presented, professional and passionate about hospitality and service excellence Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily running of the lodge, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all departments Manage housekeeping, maintenance coordination and stock control to maintain high lodge standards Deliver exceptional guest experiences and professionally handle guest feedback, requests and complaints Supervise, mentor, train and motivate staff to encourage strong performance and team engagement Maintain accurate administrative records and perform basic accounting and reporting duties Monitor operational systems, processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance and consistency Uphold lodge standards, policies and service philosophies at all times – R15,000 – R18,000 per month with live in benefits – ASAP PLEASE NOTE – We would appreciate it if you could read the requirements before applying.
