The Role: Scriptwriter (Junior / Mid / Senior) As a Scriptwriter, you’ll transform detailed client objectives into clear, compelling scripts that drive creative video production. Whether you’re early in your career or bring a decade of experience, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping narratives across sectors like healthcare, fintech, and international development. The role involves close collaboration with producers, designers, and animators to ensure each script delivers on vision and impact. Key Responsibilities Bring 110 years of scriptwriting experience into a high-output creative environment Collaborate with production teams to interpret and deliver on client visions Write engaging scripts that simplify complex concepts across diverse industries Coordinate with animators and designers to align final output with the script Support producers on multiple concurrent projects (with up to 100 active projects) Join client calls to clarify objectives and receive feedback About You 110 years of professional scriptwriting experience (agency or journalism backgrounds welcome) University degree preferred (especially in Journalism or English Language for junior candidates) Highly creative with a strong grasp of narrative and structure Able to quickly understand complex topics and simplify them into clear messaging Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills and adaptability Relocation & Lifestyle Perks Flights to relocate covered First months rent and security deposit paid (deposit is yours to keep when you leave) Hands-on help finding accommodation in Somerset East Live and work at the foot of the Boschberg Mountains with low living costs, no traffic, and a lifestyle rich in natural beauty
