About the Role
Sekozee is seeking an experienced and skilled CAT Backhoe Loader Driver to join our team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a backhoe loader for various construction, waste management, and municipal projects. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in backhoe loader operations, excellent safety protocols, and the ability to lift heavy weights.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CAT Backhoe Loader safely and efficiently
- Excavate trenches and perform loading operations as required
- Ensure all necessary safety precautions are taken when operating heavy machinery
- Provide regular maintenance and upkeep of the backhoe loader
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Valid CAT Backhoe Loader Operator Certificate
- Valid Code 10 / C1 drivers license (or higher)
- Dangerous goods PrDP license
- Minimum 23 years experience operating a backhoe loader
- Proven experience in construction, waste management, or municipal work (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Medically fit to operate heavy machinery (medical certificate required)
- Good eyesight and hearing
