About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Solar Site Manager to oversee the installation, construction, and commissioning of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on solar PV construction sites
- Supervise installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and site productivity
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE regulations
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Compile site reports, progress updates, and handover documentation
- Troubleshoot on-site technical and operational challenges
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV or construction site management
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and installation processes
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple site activities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Qualifications
Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Renewable Energy will be advantageous.
