About the Role
AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced Site Construction Supervisor to join our team in Kathu, Northern Cape. As a key member of our projects department, you will assist the Project Manager in delivering projects by supervising and coordinating onsite activities, with a focus on full-time On-site Electrical & Instrumentation EPCM project services to the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities of projects executed by the Projects Department
• Verify that electrical & instrumentation constructions are done in accordance with the E&I design, standards and specifications.
• Facilitate quality control and quality assurance through the complete project life cycle (manufacturing, construction/installation, testing and commissioning).
• Punch all electrical & instrumentation installations.
• Ensure that IFC drawings are red-lined.
- Manage access to follow trades (E&I) in accordance with the project schedule.
• Facilitate communication between follow trades (E&I) to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Equivalent (Electrical/Electronic Engineering)
- Minimum of 6 years of industrial (operational) experience in a Mining or Plant environment, of which 3 years in an E&I Construction Supervisor capacity.
- Construction management experience.
- Managed projects above R5 million.
- Training and Exposure to conduct Risk Assessments & CTAs Reviews.
Qualifications
- ECSA registration as a candidate.
- Construction Management certification.
