About the Role
Maison Grace, Cape Town’s first truly bespoke private members club, is seeking a Hostess & Reservationist who understands that the front desk is not just a desk, but the threshold to an exclusive world of elegance and refinement. We are looking for someone who will welcome members and their guests with warmth, confidence, and poise, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members and their guests with warmth, confidence, and poise
- Manage reservations with precision, discretion, and attention to detail
- Recognise members by name and understand their preferences where possible
- Coordinate seating, arrivals, and flow in close alignment with FOH and Bar teams
- Handle sensitive requests and last-minute changes with calm assurance
- Maintain immaculate presentation of arrival and reception areas
Requirements
- Experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or high-end restaurants
- Polished, articulate, and emotionally intelligent communication skills
- Organised, detail-driven, and unflappable under pressure
- Ability to understand discretion, boundaries, and quiet confidence
- Enjoy being the calm centre of a dynamic service environment
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in hospitality or a related field (if applicable)
