About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Couple or a single Lodge Manager for a high-end luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger area. The successful applicants will ensure exceptional guest experiences, seamless operational performance, and the ongoing development of the lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Conduct game drives if qualified, or arrange freelance guides as needed
- Maintain high operational and service standards across the lodge
- Arrange relief staff when required
- Manage housekeeping and supervise housekeeping teams
- Oversee gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep
- Arrange and supervise lodge maintenance projects when needed
Requirements
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
- Valid First Aid qualification
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) advantageous
- DEAT registration advantageous
- Valid PDP advantageous
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Broad operational experience across HR, administration, FOH, guest relations, and lodge operations
Qualifications
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
- Valid First Aid qualification
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2)
- DEAT registration
- Valid PDP
