About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservationist to join our team at HotelJobs, located in the beautiful Stellenbosch area. As a key member of our front office operations, you will be responsible for managing reservations, guest enquiries, calls, and emails, ensuring seamless check-ins and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reservations, guest enquiries, calls, and emails
- Handle check-ins and guest queries
- Liaise closely with housekeeping and front office teams
- Manage online booking platforms and ensure rate and availability accuracy
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through effective selling
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate where required
Requirements
- Matric Hospitality qualification (Beneficial)
- 2-3 years Reservations experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and reservations platforms
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure
Qualifications
- Matric Hospitality qualification (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R10 000 – R12 000 pm depending on experience
