Chemist Durban
An established company in Durban is seeking a Chemist to support research and development of new products, maintain and enhance existing products, and ensure quality and efficiency in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:

Research, develop, and analyse new products and processes

Maintain SOPs, documentation, and quality standards
-
Source and evaluate new or alternative raw materials
-
Implement and monitor quality controls in production
-
Supervise and train production staff as required
-
Support QC laboratory activities
Requirements:
-
BSc, HND, or equivalent Chemistry degree (essential)
-
Minimum 5 years experience in the Adhesives industry
-
Experience with solvent-based and water-based adhesives
-
Hands-on laboratory experience
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
-
Excellent communication skills in English
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: Market-related, based on experience
