Job Description
- Ensuring that all welding activities are conducted according to approved
procedures and industry standards. - Performing visual and other inspections as required.
- Finding and recording any welding defects or non-conformances.
- Keeping accurate records of inspection data, test results and quality control
documents. - Submitting reports to QC Manager, documenting inspection findings and
corrective actions. - Developing and maintaining quality control documentation, including
standard operating procedures and inspection criteria
Requirements:
- Able to read and interpret Engineering drawing requirements;
- Previous experience in trailer/tanker/truck industry will be an advantage;
- Matric;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding Welding Procedure Specifications and code compliance.
