About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Semi-skilled Boilermaker to join our manufacturing team in Johannesburg, working closely with Production teams to fabricate metal components and contribute to the construction of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with Production teams
- Participation in the fabrication of metal components including welding, cutting and shaping
- Usage of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and heavy machinery
- General tasks in department
- Adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including PPE
- Cleaning pressure vessel equipment
Requirements
- Matric
- Semi-skilled Boilermaker experience
- Must have trailer or truck building experience
- Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Own transport
- Able to work long hours and under pressure
- High energy levels and self-motivated
- Able to follow instructions
- Reliable transport
- Good communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Semi-skilled Boilermaker
