(eng= Regional Operations Manager Our client is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Regional Operations Manager to oversee and support store operations across multiple regions. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, brand consistency, staff development, and strong performance across all stores while working closely with franchisees and head office stakeholders. Location: Pretoria / Johannesburg (Must be willing to travel) Salary: R400 000 R600 000 per year, with additional bonus structures in place (depending on experience) Available positions: 1 Start date: Immediately Key Responsibilities: Store Operations & Standards: · Conduct regular store visits and comprehensive store evaluations to ensure compliance with brand standards across administration and operational processes, visual merchandising and store presentation, stock control and shrinkage management, sales performance and KPIs, and staff appearance, conduct, and customer service. · Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans to improve store performance and efficiency. · Ensure physical store standards are consistently maintained, including cleanliness, layout, lighting, fixtures, and general upkeep. Staff Management, Training & Development: · Recruit, onboard, and induct new staff members in line with business requirements. · Manage all staff-related matters in collaboration with an external HR service provider. · Train and upskill store teams, equipping them with the tools, systems, and product knowledge required to perform optimally. · Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to store staff and managers. · Implement staff incentive programmes, competitions, and motivational initiatives to drive engagement and achievement of sales targets. Maintenance & Issue Resolution: · Act as the primary point of contact for all in-store operational and maintenance issues, including equipment, lighting, and general store functionality. · Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and problem resolution to minimise operational disruptions. Reporting & Performance Management: · Compile and submit monthly KPI reports and operational performance summaries. · Monitor store results and trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales, efficiency, and profitability. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: · Liaise closely with head office departments including marketing, finance, stock control, and buying. · Attend and contribute to marketing, finance, stock, and franchisee meetings, providing store-level and holistic operational insights. · Ensure alignment between store operations and broader business strategies. · Facilitate clear communication between stores, franchisees, and head office. Franchisee & Management Engagement: · Hold monthly meetings with franchisees and store managers to review performance, address challenges, and align on objectives. · Participate in weekly head office meetings to provide updates, feedback, and strategic input. · Support franchisees in maintaining brand standards and achieving commercial success. Job Requirements: · Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar operational or management role. · Any additional relevant skills will be advantageous. Ligging: Pretoria / Johannesburg (Moet bereid wees om te reis) Salaris: R400 000 R600 000 per jaar, met addisionele bonusstrukture wat in plek is (na gelang van ervaring) Beskikbare Posisies: 1 Begindatum: Dadelik Hoof Verantwoordelikhede: Winkelbedrywighede & Standaarde: · Doen gereelde winkelbesoeke en omvattende evaluasies om nakoming van handelsmerkstandaarde te verseker oor administratiewe en operasionele prosesse, visuele handelsmerchandising en winkelvoorkoms, voorraadbeheer en verliese, verkoopsprestasie en KPIs, asook personeelvoorkoms, gedrag en kliëntediens. · Identifiseer operasionele leemtes en implementeer regstellende aksieplanne om winkelprestasie en doeltreffendheid te verbeter. · Verseker dat fisiese winkelstandaarde konsekwent gehandhaaf word, insluitend netheid, uitleg, beligting, toebehore en algemene instandhouding. Personeelbestuur, Opleiding & Ontwikkeling: · Werf, stel aan en oriënteer nuwe personeel volgens besigheidsbehoeftes. · Bestuur alle personeelverwante aangeleenthede in samewerking met n eksterne HR-diensverskaffer. · Lei en ontwikkel winkelspanne deur hulle toe te rus met die nodige hulpmiddels, stelsels en produkkennis om optimaal te presteer. · Verskaf deurlopende afrigting, motivering en prestasieterugvoer aan personeel en bestuurders. · Implementeer aansporingsprogramme, kompetisies en motiveringsinisiatiewe om betrokkenheid en die bereiking van verkoopsteikens te bevorder. Instandhouding & Probleemoplossing: · Tree op as die primêre kontakpunt vir alle winkelbedrywighede en instandhoudingskwessies, insluitend toerusting, beligting en algemene winkel-funksionaliteit. · Koördineer en monitor herstelwerk, instandhouding en probleemoplossing om bedryfsversteurings te minimaliseer. Verslagdoening & Prestasiebestuur: · Stel maandelikse KPI-verslae en operasionele prestasie-oorsigte saam en dien dit in. · Monitor winkelresultate en tendense, en verskaf insigte en aanbevelings om verkope, doeltreffendheid en winsgewendheid te verbeter. Belanghebbende & Kruisfunksionele Samewerking: · Skakel nou met hoofkantoor-afdelings soos bemarking, finansies, voorraadbeheer en aankope. · Neem deel aan bemarkings-, finansiële-, voorraad- en franchisevergaderings en lewer winkelvlak- en operasionele insette. · Verseker belyning tussen winkelbedrywighede en breër besigheidstrategieë. · Fasiliteer duidelike kommunikasie tussen winkels, franchisehouers en hoofkantoor. Franchisehouer- & Bestuursbetrokkenheid: · Hou maandelikse vergaderings met franchisehouers en winkelbestuurders om prestasie te hersien, uitdagings aan te spreek en doelwitte te belyn. · Neem deel aan weeklikse hoofkantoorvergaderings om opdaterings, terugvoer en strategiese insette te lewer. · Ondersteun franchisehouers om handelsmerkstandaarde te handhaaf en kommersiële sukses te behaal.
