About the Role

A prestigious luxury private island in Madagascar is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their culinary team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and creative chef to work in a unique, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring consistent quality across all dishes
  • Prepare and present meals to the highest luxury standards, including la carte, banquet, and bespoke menus
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff to maintain excellence and efficiency
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene, safety, and health regulations
  • Contribute to menu development, incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
  • Maintain kitchen inventory, control costs, and monitor stock levels
