Bedfordview: Commercial Underwriter

About the Role

The Bedfordview Commercial Underwriter will play a crucial role in assessing and underwriting new and existing commercial insurance policies for our clients. With strong analytical and decision-making skills, you will evaluate risks and determine appropriate terms and premiums while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, brokers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite new and existing commercial insurance policies
• Evaluate risks and determine appropriate terms and premiums
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• FETC NQF 4
• Higher Certificate in a relevant field
• RE 5 certification required
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Qualifications

• Completed FETC NQF 4 or higher certificate
• Completed Higher Certificate in a relevant field
