About the Role
A well-established Specialist Orthopaedic Surgical Practice in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their team as soon as possible. This position suits a confident and detail-oriented nurse with orthopaedic theatre experience who values precision, professionalism, and high surgical standards within a specialist practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with theatre preparation
- Maintain sterile technique during surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes
- Coordinate with surgeons and anaesthetists as needed
- Manage theatre inventory and supplies
Requirements
- Active SANC registration
- 2-5 years experience in Orthopaedic theatre scrubbing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable transport (BCur Nursing Degree preferred)
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification
Salary & Benefits
R50,000 – R60,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
