About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Warehouse Assistant to support our Parts Manager in ensuring the efficient administration, picking, checking, and distribution of parts to technicians. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory control, processing picking slips promptly, and ensuring all parts are correctly recorded and packed to support smooth workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Parts Manager in a constructive manner
- Ensure that the constant supply of parts to technicians is properly administered and executed
- Present excellent task performance
- Personally manage work efficiently
- Action all parts picking slips fast and efficiently
- Check and record all picked parts before packing
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and peers
- Adhere to minimum standards required by the company
- Participate in relevant training programmes
- Ensure proper adherence to Health and Safety rules at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in similar role
- Full understanding and knowledge of Warehouse operation
- Accurate counting ability
- Code 10 license
- Personal Attributes:
- Physically fit
- Team player
- Confident and proactive approach
- Anticipates issues and requirements
- Read and Write English
