About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control system architectures for industrial/process plants. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement control system architectures for industrial/process plants
- PLC, HMI and SCADA programming, configuration and testing
- Develop control philosophies, functional design specifications and IO lists
- Commissioning and fault-finding on-site and remotely
- Integration of instrumentation, drives and process equipment
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety and quality requirements
- Provide technical support during project execution and handover
Requirements
- BEng Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Proven experience in control systems engineering within industrial or process environments
- Strong PLC programming experience (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems
- Knowledge of industrial networks, instrumentation and automation standards
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams
