About the Role

Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise on electrical engineering projects, and will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for building services, including lighting, power, and distribution boards (DBs)
  • Develop and implement 11kV and 400V reticulation plans
  • Design and install Generator and UPS systems
  • Provide expertise on Solar PV systems for building-mounted installations
  • Use AutoCAD & Revit draughting software to create detailed designs
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical engineering needs and develop solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
  • At least 5 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD & Revit draughting software
  • Knowledge of Relux or Dialux software for lighting designs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

About the Role

Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our consulting engineering industry, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for various clients.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Relux or Dialux software for lighting designs
  • Work with 11kV and 400V reticulation systems
  • Design and install Generator and UPS systems
  • Provide expertise on Solar PV systems mainly for building-mounted installations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical needs and develop solutions
  • Travel to sites and meetings as required

Requirements
