About the Role
As the Demand Planning Manager at Isilumko Staffing, you will be responsible for unlocking the power of accurate forecasting to balance supply and demand, optimize product mix in rands, and ensure seamless order fulfilment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can communicate insights clearly across all stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast future demand to guide supply chain activities.
- Communicate insights clearly across all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with supply planners, operations, finance, QA, and product development.
- Influence demand prioritization aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Own the demand role in sales & operations planning for supply-demand balancing.
- Prepare reports, manage forecast models, and track KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Assess risks, mitigate variability, and support strategic initiatives across marketing, inventory, and production.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships while coaching and mentoring teams.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or Public Management (NQF Level 6).
- 8 years demand planning experience, with 5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of SCM, PFMA, treasury regulations, economics, accounting, forecasting principles, and customer service.
